Our Story

See the Holy Rosary in a new light.

Hi, I'm Ben. I live in Kimberley, British Columbia, with my two kids, and I make every Prism on this site by hand in my living room.

It started with a wandering mind

I love the Rosary, but I struggled to stay with it. I'd begin a decade meaning to meditate on the mystery, and a few Hail Marys later my mind would be somewhere else entirely. Praying from my phone only made it worse, since every notification pulled me further away.

I wanted something to keep me anchored: an image of each mystery in front of me, with the Scripture right behind it, so that when my mind drifted I had somewhere to bring it back to.

Why a prism

A prism takes ordinary light and shows you all the colour that was in it the whole time. That's what I hoped to do for prayer. The Rosary isn't dry, but our prayer life can start to feel that way. The Prism brings the mysteries of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother Mary back into view, in full colour.

A year of prototypes

I spent about a year of evenings and weekends working it out. Early versions folded in all kinds of ways before I settled on the shape you see now: 20 cards welded into one sheet that stands up as a triangular prism, then folds flat into a deck that slips into its own tuck box.

Why 20 cards

Twenty mysteries of the Rosary, twenty cards. As I added more devotions (the Stations of the Cross, the Nicene Creed, the Chaplet of St. Michael, and the Seven Sorrows with the Magnificat), I kept each one to the same 20-card structure, so they all stand, fold and travel the same way.

Made by hand

Every Prism is made from super-polished 0.2mm PVC. I line up and heat-weld each card myself after my day job, one Prism at a time. It's slow work, but it means every one passes through my hands before it reaches yours. You can read how the artwork and texts are prepared on our Products & Transparency page.

Made with families in mind

My kids were a big part of this. Little ones follow the Rosary far better when they have something to look at, and the PVC wipes clean when someone inevitably gets breakfast on it.

Why St. Joseph

St. Joseph lived closer to Jesus than almost anyone. He held Him as a baby, worked beside Him and watched Him grow. I have a great devotion to St. Joseph, and I pray to be as close to Jesus as he was. Every Prism is my small way of helping others draw closer to Him too.

Thank you

Each Prism is a visual aid for meditative prayer, made to free you from distraction so you can grow into deeper intimacy with our Lord. It has grown because people shared it, prayed for it and brought a Prism into their homes, and every order is encouragement to keep going.

God bless,
Ben
